Due to ongoing hurricane evacuation traffic, motorists are advised to avoid S. Oates Street (US 231 S), the west side of Ross Clark Circle (AL 210), and the Montgomery Highway (US 231 N) when possible. If you must use these routes, please drive with extreme caution and plan for the possibility of time delays in arriving at your destination. Please note that this heavy evacuation traffic is expected to continue through next week.
