According to the Dothan Police Department there is a Facebook posted being circulated in Dothan about a woman almost snatched between a breakfast establishment and large retail store in Dothan by some men in a white truck. There is zero truth to this rumor. This is a recreation of an old internet story that dates back several years.


Unfortunately the internet, and specifically social media have become vehicles to launch such ridiculousness into peoples daily news feeds. If you read a story, and there is no official link, times, date, or any other supporting information you may want to take a minute before forwarding that on and having your name associated with the hoax.
