Jerry Corbin Recognized For Service To City of Dothan - Houston County Communications District Board

DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning members of the City of Dothan - Houston County Communications District Board recognized Jerry Corbin for his service to the board.
Corbin served on the Advisory Committee when the board was under the leadership of the Dothan Mayor, Dothan Commissioners and Houston County Commissioners. Then in 2015 when the board make up was changed from the elected officials to appointed persons, Jerry Corbin was one of the first everyone wanted on the board.
Jerry Corbin, often referred to as "Big Daddy", brought to the board wisdom in making decisions that affected emergency service to the people of Dothan and Houston County. You could always count on him to have sound reasoning in discussion of matter.
Corbin served from 2004 to 2017. He was presented a plaque for his service at this Communications District Board.

The Dothan Commission appointed General Services Director Randy Morris at last weeks meeting to take Jerry Corbin's spot on the board. Morris brings a vast amount of business experience to the board, contract experience, and other assets to serve the people of Dothan - Houston County.
