Joint Task Force Drug Arrest

On Friday, 12/08/2017, through the course of a joint operation, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force, and the Dothan Police Department executed a search warrant on a passenger vehicle within Houston County Alabama. The search resulted in the discovery of approximately 1 Kilogram (2.2 LB) of heroin located inside of a hidden compartment within the vehicle.
Arrest was 30 year old, Rudyver Garcia of California. Garcia was charged with Trafficking Heroin and given a $1,500,000 bond.
The case is still under investigation.
The heroin has an estimated street value of $300,000.00
