Live Fire Training in Slocomb

SLOCOMB: Tonight volunteer firefighters participated in a live fire training. Firefighters got the chance to see what it would be like in a real fire. While this fire training is under a controlled environment firefighters can see what it is like to have to search through thick smoke and high temps to locate and extinguish the fire. The y also learned about the importance of 2 in and 2 out.
It’s better to learn in a controlled setting then it is in a real life situation. Thanks to the Alabama Fire College for use of the Life Fire Training Trailer.
