COMMENTS

Slaughter classes steady to 2 lower.Replacement bred cows and cow calf pairs steady to firm . Calves and feeder cattle Wild and Wooley. Mostly 4 to 6 higher with some 400 weight STEER calves 8 to 13 higher. Market activity and Buyer demand absolutely outstanding!! Fed cattle in the West much higher last week @ 136- 137.50. It looks like a solid footing for the cattle industry for a while, with the China deal starting in June and demand for our beef very strong !!
