Local Man Indicted for Killing Dothan Teen During Party

Dothan (WTVY)-- A Houston County Grand Jury indicted Fisher Shipes for manslaughter in the death his friend, 19-year old Christian Mullins.
After receiving a 9-1-1 call on May 19, police went to a Dothan home where they found Mullins suffering from a gunshot wound. He died on the way to a hospital.
Shipes first told officers that Mullins had been shot by an unknown person who ran from the scene. However, while police were searching the area, Shipes changed his story and admitted he pulled the trigger.
