HOUSTON COUNTY: A long time Deputy and a great friend retired today. Surrounded by friends, family and colleges Deputy Randy Anderson said good bye. Deputies Randy started his career back in the early nineties under the leadership of the Sheriff Lamar “Birddog” Haddon.
Randy rose up through the ranks from Deputy to Sergeant to Lieutenant working with our children as the only school resource officer throughout Houston County.
Randy will be deeply missed and it had a positive outcome on the children attending schools in Houston County over the years my daughter was one of them.
Randy’s philosophy has always been treat everyone as if they were your family and you can never go wrong with that positive attitude. Randy has proudly served the citizens of Houston County for 30 plus years and will be greatly missed by all.
Good luck Randy on whatever life still has in store for you.
