Man Arrested on Federal Warrants

On 3-26-19 The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office along with the U.S. Marshal Task Force received information that a wanted fugitive, Robert John Cook, was living and working in the Bascom area.
During the course of the investigation, Law Enforcement Officers learned that Cook was on a job site south of Donalsonville Georgia.
After a short surveillance, Cook was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal Task Force without incident. His federal warrant was for Violation of Federal Probation and his Bay County warrant was for Sexual Battery.
He was placed in jail to await first appearance before a Federal Magistrate.
