MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A Georgia man is charged in the slaying of man who was shot by someone else during a robbery attempt in Montgomery.
Authorities tell news outlets that 21-year-old Quayshon Frazier Hardy Jr. of Loganville, Georgia, is being held in the death of 22-year-old Jessie James Felts Jr.
Police say Hardy and Felts broke into a home near the Governor's Mansion on Sunday, and they exchanged gunfire with someone in the residence.
FOLKS....
I know ya'll get tired of it, but, when you read the stories around the state as I do, and you see all of the violence around the state as I do, then you see the Alabama Attorney General be critical of a Sheriff that says, " I am more concerned with the violence then electronic bingo and not going to tie up valuable resources on bingo with all of the violent crime".
And Attorney General Steve Marshall then takes his investigators and ALEA - State Bureau of Investigation Agents and travel to bingo to team up with the Jefferson County Sheriff to work violent crime.. WAIT...WAIT....no he did not. Steve Marshall sent them to work electronic bingo not the violent crime.
But it was violent crime near the Alabama Governor's Mansion not bingo that claimed a man's life.
