Man Charged with 165 Counts of Child Porn

HOUSTON COUNTY:. Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza Held a press conference to announce the arrest of 61 year old Kirt Edward Brown for child pornography of children under five years old

Brown was charged with 160 counts in an ongoing investigation.

Valenza said Wednesday during a press conference announcing Brown’s arrest he’s appalled by the allegations. “There’s no rehabilitation for those who commit child pornography crimes.” The sheriff said the children, most ages one to five, depicted in the computer images will be “marked for life.” None, he believes, are local victims.

Valenza thanked the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Fort Rucker Criminal Investigation Division, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms for assistance in the investigation. 

Brown’s wife, Sonja, faces trial on marijuana possession charges after her arrest stemming from the search.
