Man Hunt Underway in Madrid

HOUSTON COUNTY: This afternoon a Houston County Deputy stopped three people walking down the road that were acting suspicious. When the deputy started gathering their information one of them took off running.
The deputy called for back up and multiple deputies responded. The white male suspect has been identified as Harold Lance Smith. Houston County K-9 tracked the suspect until she lost the track.
Smith is wanted for questioning in some recent burglaries. If you see smith or know his whereabouts please call the Houston County Sheriff’s Office at 334-677-4808.
