Man shot to death in Birmingham's Southtown community; city's homicide toll hits 90

According to Al.com: Birmingham police were on the scene of a fatal shooting in the South-town public housing community Monday morning. Monday's homicide is the sixth in six days.
South Precinct officers were dispatched at 5:27 a.m. to the 900 block of 23rd Street South. Once on the scene, they found a black male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities said they don't yet know how many times the victim was shot.
He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police have not yet identified a suspect or suspects.
