Marianna Man Arrested for DUI and Driving While Revoked

On January 23rd, 2019 at approximately 9:53am officers with the Marianna Police Department observed a white in color, Chevrolet truck backing out of a driveway on Madison Street. Officers observed the driver of the vehicle to be David Hester who was known to them to have a revoked driver’s license. This information was confirmed and a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.


Officers made contact with Hester and it was determined that Hester was under the influence of alcohol. Hester was charged with felony driving while license revoked and felony DUI-4th conviction. Hester was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
