Marianna Man Charged with Aggravated Assault with a Weapon

            On Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at approximately 8:39am, officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to a residence located in the 4300 block of 8th Avenue, in reference to the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim who advised Christopher Taylor threatened them with a box cutter. During the investigation it was determined that an altercation occurred inside the residence which led to Taylor displaying a box cutter towards the victim. At one point during the altercation, Taylor put the box cutter up to the victim’s neck, threatening to kill the victim.
