Marianna Robbery Suspect Arrested

On January 7th, 2018 at approximately 11:49pm the Marianna Police Department responded to the report of a robbery that occurred at a residence on Rockwell Street. Officers were able to obtain a vehicle description from a witness. It was reported that the victim was attempting to back out of the driveway when the victim was approached by two black males.
One of the suspects began talking with the victim as if he knew the victim. After a brief moment, the suspect demanded money from the victim and told the victim that if he didn’t receive the money, he would shoot them. During this time, the suspect was acting as if he was holding a weapon in his waistband.
The victim provided the suspect with a sum of money and the suspect fled the area. On January 8th, 2018 the Marianna Police Department were able to positively identify one of the suspects as Nathan Jarrod Pelt. A robbery warrant was applied for and granted for Pelt.
UPDATE:
On January 9th, 2018 Pelt arrived at the Marianna Police Department to provide a statement to officers. Pelt was arrested on the robbery and petit theft warrants. Pelt was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
