Missing AL 5-year-old located in Mississippi

SYLACAUGA, AL (WBRC) - A 5-year-old reported missing in Sylacauga has been located in Mississippi. 


Sylacauga police asked for the public's assistance in locating 5-year-old Malachi Quintanilla. He was found overnight in Lee County, Mississippi. 


According to police, they believe Malachi was abducted by a white female at his residence after getting off the bus from school. They do not believe the abduction was random. Malachi's mother explained to police that the abductor might be related to the biological father who resides in New Orleans.
