Motor Vehicle Accident invovling a School Bus

HOUSTON COUNTY:  Taylor Fire and Rehobeth Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus and a pickup on Hwy 605 about a quarter of a mile North of Coleman Road. Pilcher's Ambulance was requested to back up due to the number of possible injuries.


One person was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Paramedics checked out all the kids on the bus and they were turned over to their parents. A few of the kids complained of minor injuries but were turned over to their parents.


Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
