Mr. Lee Dobb’s - Owner of Dobb’s BBQ Restaurant Passed Away

DOTHAN: For more than 100 years Dothan has been the home of Dobb’s Famous BBQ Restaurant.
Known for the strawberry shortcake, camp stew, and Hooie stick, folks from all over came to Dobb’s BBQ to eat.
The owner of Dobb’s BBQ passed away this afternoon about 1 PM. Mr. Lee Dobb’s has been the icon owner for decades. He was always in his Dickey’s Coveralls. In the younger years he had many magic tricks he would entertain the guests with.
One of those was the "Hooie" stick and the "Hooie sooie" stick.
Funeral arrangements are to be announced. Dobb’s will be closed this week.
