Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams, Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah and Dothan Fire Duty Officer Captain Stephen Messer all responded.
Emergency units made sure houses were safe.
As soon as Alabama Forestry got free they were on the scene plowing break lines.

It was a terrific working relationship between every agency involved. All worked pleasantly under the unified command under Batallion Chief Ash.
