Multiple Volunteer Firefighters Come Together to Train

SLOCOMB: Tonight multiple volunteer firefighters came together to train in live fire. Slocomb Fire- Rescue hosted a multi-company training. These men and women got a chance to experience firsthand the heat, smoke and flames.
Since firefighters came from so many different departments it gave these firefighters a chance to work and train with firefighters from other departments.
The object of tonight’s training was how to do the job and do it safely. After all the main goal of all volunteers and paid firefighters is to do the job and come home safely.
The following departments were involved in tonight’s training.
Clayhathee Fire, Geneva Fire, Slocomb Fire, Wicksburg Fire, Rehobeth Fire, Hartford Fire, Malvern Fire, Fadette Fire and Southern Junction Fire.
