Maryann Cullin has invited you to participate in National Wreaths Across America Day ("Wreaths Day") to be held this year on Saturday, December 15, 2018! Here is a personal note from Maryann Cullin about Wreaths day:

Wreaths Across America is an annual Wreath Laying Event to Honor our Fallen Heroes Midland City location is in need of sponsors for the wreaths. Checks can be made out to Wreaths Across America ($15. per wreath) and mailed to McDaniel; P.O. Box 8766; Dothan, Al 36304 by Nov. 26th. Wreath Laying and service is scheduled for 11 AM at Sunset Memorial Park on Dec. 15

The following questions provide a brief overview of the importance and meaning of Maryann Cullin's invitation:

What is Wreaths Across America Day?

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

What should I expect as a Volunteer on Wreaths Across America Day?

As a volunteer, you'll join tens of thousands of others across the nation in placing wreaths on the markers of fallen heroes. Volunteers then "say their name" to ensure that the legacy of duty, service, and sacrifice of each veteran is never forgotten. There is no age limit to volunteer and, in fact, we encourage families to come and share in this patriotic experience!

How can I register as a Volunteer?

The quickest way to register is to click More Information and then to click the "Volunteer" button. You may also search for a participating location near you by clicking Search Locations. Finally, here is information on the location(s) that Maryann Cullin supports:

Here is a list of participating cemeteries nearby:

Besides volunteering, two other powerful ways exist to support our mission: First, please click Sponsor Wreaths to purchase a wreath that will be placed on the grave of a veteran, and second, please share our mission by clicking one of the social sharing links at the bottom of this email.

In closing, we are delighted that Maryann Cullin invited you to participate, and we look forward to seeing you on National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 15, 2018!
