Newly Formed Tri-State Community Choir Announces First Rehearsal

Dothan: Tri-State Community Choir announces it very first rehearsal is set for Monday, January 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. Registration will remain open through Monday, January 21. Rehearsals will be held every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. until the performance on March 10, 2019.
The choir welcomes anyone in the tri-state area who sings and would like a challenging and meaningful opportunity to do so. The first work, Jubilate Deo by Dan Forrest, will be performed in seven different languages.
The choir is open for people of all professions, religions, backgrounds, personalities, and ethnicities. People of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Artistic Director, Laura Grace Holmes, will conduct structured rehearsals with rehearsal aides available for private practice, so that the music can be learned in the short window of time before the performance. You can register on the website, or at the desk on Monday nights between now and January 21. There are no auditions; everyone is welcome. The only fee is $20 which covers the cost of your vocal score.
Rehearsals are held in the fellowship hall of Covenant United Methodist Church. The performance, which is free to the community, will be held on March 10, 2019 in the sanctuary of the church.
