NEWTON:    Attention to the Newton residents.


Do not leave vehicles unlocked and items available for theft. You have some thugs in the area that have been going into vehicles stealing.


Newton Police Chief Eric Duhaime and members of Newton Police are working several cases. But they encourage residents to be alert and conscious is suspicious people and activity.


Should you notice anyone or anything call 911 or Dale County Central dispatch. If possible snap snap a quick photo or short video along with tag number if possible.


Crimes are often solved because the public is alert. Take down details. Do not hesitate to call law enforcement.
