Off Duty Firefighter Rescues Man From Water

We wanted to call attention to an act of heroism performed today by off duty firefighter Kaleb Jameson Snell. He was on board the vessel Marquesa when they witnessed an out of control vessel in St Andrews bay ( Panama City Florida) The Marquesa responded and Firefighter Snell spotted a man in the water. Firefighter Snell dove into the water and pulled the man onto the Marquesa.
The man had suffered a serious wound. Firefighter Snell used moring line as a tourniquet and began CPR after losing a pulse. The Marquesa met PC first responders at the dock. It is our understanding that the gentleman is in surgery at this time. We will update as we know more.
