Two men are in custody and two others remain at large in connection with a deadly shooting at a Selma gas station.


Jeffery James Bennett Jr., 20, and Vincent Devonte Ellis, 21, were arrested on Tuesday, said Selma police Sgt. Ray Blanks. They are charged with murder, two counts of first-degree assault and one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.


The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday at the Raceway. Killed was 26-year-old Ernest Weaver Daniels III, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
