Only Retirement Worked Because $ 8 Million, Indictment, Trial And Hope In Being Two Faced Could Never Beat Her

DISTRICT 29:    Congratulations to Donnie Chesteen on being District 29 Alabama Senator. This district represents Geneva, Houston and some of Dale County.

For 20 consecutive years a “lady” has represented District 29 as Alabama State Senator. The term “lady” is used because Harri Anne Smith is a “lady”,

Harri Anne Smith is also a public servant. Because she has a servant’s heart. She believes in the people she served and those she did not serve. Was/is/will be always willing to help others.

And Harri Anne Smith never let the title or office become her. She always remained, just Harri Anne.

The last eight years have been stressful years for her. She fought and overcame obstacles you can never imagine.

She was ousted by some snobbish, power hungry, lying scums who were Republicans. ( For the record the same description fits some Democrats so don’t get your feathers ruffled. You know who you are.)

Harri Anne was abandoned by key leader figures from all walks of “important” people. From political people, to business people and clergy people.

Harri Anne was indicted and fought the United States Federal Government in two criminal trials. Charged by corrupt prosecutors and political operatives. 

Harri Anne was challenged in two elections. The Republicans spent over $ 8 million dollars trying to beat her. And they failed.

Realize...kicked from the Republican Party, indicted and tried twice by the United States government, abandoned by those who thought they were important, to include some clergy. And she still won.

You know why she won? Because she was just Harri Anne, and the “people”, just the ordinary “people” never abandoned her.

Election day was proof. Harri Anne posted a Facebook message that she and Charlie were cleaning out her Senate office. The “people” started a movement, like two weeks ago, to write in Harri Anne for Senate. 

Now WTVY deemed Harri Anne as “running”. No, she was not running. For her to run she would be required to do a committee and a bunch of stuff. The “people” pushed forward. And Harri Anne was honored what the “people” were doing for her.

Election night in the District 29 Alabama Senator race there were 2,587 “write in votes” according to the computer totals. They do not take those and count who those write in votes were for.

But the election of 2014 when the Republicans spent about $ 4 million dollars that election cycle there were 63 total write in votes cast. So you go figure.

Harri Anne did not seek re-election because the love of her life, Charlie, was struck with sickness. While the people were her love, her real Love was Charlie. And he came first. Charlie is doing great. But Harri Anne made the decision that her focus needed to be on Charlie.

But election night the “people” once again paid Harri Anne a compliment. While we will never know how many of the 2,587 write in votes were for, you go figure...63 write in votes when $ 4 million dollars was spent, and 2,587 write in votes when Harri Anne was not an official candidate.

Politicians should take note...Harri Anne is a “lady” who never forgot she was a public servant of the people. She had backbone and courage with the people on her side. She did not need those who HOPED they were important who would sell their soul to the devil himself in HOPE they would be important. Harri Anne never placed HOPE in those who were two faced, backstabbing, self serving, vicious pretenders.

Harri Anne trusted the “people” and the “people” trusted Harri Anne. Proven election night 2018.

Thank you Harri Anne and Charlie. Thank you for your service.
