Outdoor Alert System testing on November 8.

Dothan/Houston County EMA will begin testing the Community Outdoor Warning System on the 2nd Wednesday of each month beginning on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017.  The siren will sound at noon and will sound for three minutes.   If inclement weather is present in the area, we will not test the sirens.


We are changing the date of the monthly siren testing from the 1st Friday of the month to the 2nd Wednesday so we can respond quickly if there are issues with any sirens.
