POLICE INVESTIGATING HIT AND RUN INVOLVING PEDESTRIAN

On May 26, 2018 at approximately 8:00 PM the Bonifay Police Department, Holmes County EMS and Bonifay Fire-Rescue responded to the report of a hit and run crash involving a pedestrian on South McGee Road. 


The victim, who was operating a motorized wheelchair, was transported to Doctor’s Memorial Hospital with minor injuries being reported.  The suspect vehicle is a 2012 to 2014 Nissan Maxima, white in color.  The vehicle should have damage to the front and front passenger side of the vehicle. 


Witnesses stated to police that the front bumper was dragging the ground as the driver fled from the scene.
