Free concert series Music By Moonlight will return this summer with three concerts at Landmark Park on the Gazebo lawn under the stars. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Bring your picnic and lawn chairs. The Martin Drugstore and Shelley General Store will be open selling refreshments. No pets or alcohol, please. Sponsored by WOOF Radio and David K. Hogg LLC.
On June 15, Pontiac Stove Company will take the stage. Pontiac Stove Company is a combination of amateur musicians and songwriters from Dothan, Alabama. Most of their music has roots in Americana, Singer/Songwriter and Bluegrass styles - but they appreciate a wide variety of music sounds. Some favorite artists they enjoy are Bob Dylan, Tim O’Brien, Prince and John Denver. They are partial to obscure covers and write some of their own songs.
June 29 will feature the Tri State Community Orchestra, and the series will conclude on July 13 with the Troy Dothan Community Band.
Landmark Park is a 135 acre historical and natural science park located on U.S. Highway 431 North in Dothan. For more information, contact the park at 334-794-3452 or visit www.landmarkparkdothan.com.
