Prattville Police Chase Ends in Montgomery, 3 in Custody

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Three suspects are in custody after a police pursuit that began in Prattville and ended in Montgomery.






According to Lisa Byrd with the city of Prattville, Prattville police officers responded to a call about suspicious activity at Walmart, involving suspects attempting to open car doors. When officers approached the suspects, they entered a vehicle and fled the scene, attempting to run over an officer as they did.






Byrd said other units began chasing the vehicle at Fairview and McQueen Smith Road. The chase eventually ended at Taylor Road in Montgomery, where all three suspects were taken into custody.
