LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — President Donald Trump and his wife Melania toured Lee County Friday, seeing the nationally reported damage for themselves.
"I'm going to Alabama," Trump said, announcing his intention to visit the area.
The president and first lady flew overhead in Marine One Friday afternoon, flanked by osprey helicopters carrying the media nearby. Passersby were suddenly drawn to a standstill, some standing outside their vehicles with cellphones ready to capture a moment in history.
