PROOF To SAMC Board of Directors

DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:   In September 2017 I wrote a article concerning Southeast Alabama Medical Center, the Chief Executive Officer and the 13 member Board of Directors. 

At the time the article was written I stated that SAMC would not renew their advertising based on my articles. But the lives meant more then their advertising.

When December rolled around SAMC did in fact stop their advertising. One Board Member has stated that my articles are because SAMC will not advertise with RSN. This weekend I ran across this article so I scanned to post to remind the SAMC Board of Directors and public...I stated in the article they would stop advertising.

So the articles are written out of my genuine concern and what I see everyday with SAMC. When they are more interested in spending $ 1.2 M I L L I O N   D O L L A R S in changing the name then fixing the issues, there are problems.

In Sunday's Dothan Eagle SAMC ran a advertisement about the magic window of time on stroke victims in getting help. How SAMC partners with EMS. Are you aware that Columbia Rescue was diverted from Webb to Enterprise Medical Center with a stroke victim because the two hospitals could not take them? That problem has been fixed but guess who was behind that being brought to attention to fix?

I was born in Dothan Alabama. Unless I am killed somewhere else, I will be buried here. I love Dothan and Houston County and want it to be successful, regardless of what some people think. And I am concerned about our largest employer and what this CEO and 13 members of the Board are allowing to have happen.

Dothan - Houston County were once the premier medical facilities. We are no longer there.

A friend had a baby delivered at SAMC recently. The pediatrician of choice was Dothan Pediatrics. But Dothan's oldest children's doctor does not practice at SAMC anymore, they only practice at Flowers Hospital. So the family was stuck with a HOSPITALIST from a foreign country until they were released from the hospital and could then go to Dothan Pediatrics.

Your Board Member that tells people my articles are written because you do not advertise with me, my friend, is a liar. And here is proof.

I only want the best for Houston County.

The 13 member board had to pay Rick Sutton a six figure salary to come to Dothan, and Rick Sutton will only stay as long as you 13 continue to pay him the six figure salary. When you stop Rick Sutton is gone.

So do not make up lies.

Also, those of you trying to kill my other advertisers and make complaints on me to agencies, continue on. As I get concrete proof you will be called out. And most of you have businesses and I can do the same. But more people read me then yourself.

Rickey Stokes, I can assure you, IS NOT going anywhere and unless I die, I am not shutting up.
