The City of Dothan’s Public Works Department invites the public to attend a Public Involvement Meeting for the Honeysuckle Road Corridor Study on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Selma Baptist Church located at 3255 S. Park Avenue. An open meeting will be held between 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to allow the public a chance to review and discuss the proposed concept plans.

The study’s purpose is to evaluate and recommend roadway capacity improvements along Honeysuckle Road from West Main Street (US 84) to Hartford Highway (AL 52), and the feasibility of realigning and extending a portion of Honeysuckle Road to connect with the intersection of Campbellton Highway and Taylor Road. It also includes discussion of other intersection improvements and closure of Moore Road to through traffic.

City officials, staff, and the engineering consultant hired to complete this study will be available to answer questions and concerns about this project. Interested citizens are urged to attend and provide their input.  If additional information is needed please contact Mr. Robert Cox at (334) 615-4474.
