Rehobeth Volunteer Fire and Rescue is proud to announce that we have recently been awarded $387,600.00 through FEMA's 2016 Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.
This has been made possible with the support of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Rehobeth. $275,000.00 of the funds awarded will be used to obtain a new fire truck and equipment. $112,600.00 of the remaining funds awarded will be used to obtain 16 SCBA's with 32 bottles, 2 RIT PAKS, and 20 face masks.
A special thanks goes to Cindy Tubbs Monroe and JMCM consulting for working with us on the research and development of the grant. Also, we would like to thank Dothan-Houston County EMA for their assistance during this process.
As always, the members of Rehobeth Volunteer Fire and Rescue appreciate the continued support from our community.
Sincerely,
Todd Phillips
Fire Chief
