Reigns Of Columbia Are Now In Good Hands - Rhonda Freeman Now Mayor

COLUMBIA:    After months of Columbia Alabama being in turmoil the center of that turmoil is GONE.


The Mayor resigned. And now Mayor Pro Tem Rhonda Freeman is taking over the reigns as the leader of Columbia.


If the citizens of Columbia will give Rhonda Freeman a chance, she will, with the support of the Town Council, get the City of Columbia back on track. 


Freeman  and the council had no idea what all was going on. A lot of things were hidden from the council members. Freeman is the type of person that will get the facts before she answers a lot of questions. But they can rest assured she will dig into the "facts", then speak.


To The Citizens Of Columbia:    Personally I think you are on the way to healing. No, do not expect Rhonda to give you answers off the top of her head. She will listen to you, take note, research and when she answers it will be the truth as in what she finds. 


And personally I had rather have the truth and not a answer from someone who just wants to give an answer.


If the fellow council members, if you the citizens, will join hands with Rhonda Freeman, give her a chance, I think you will be proud of your town.


I have had the pleasure of knowing Rhonda from the 1970's forward. She donated time and years to Columbia Rescue. She had maintained a presence of involvement in Columbia for decades. A lady of character and integrity.


I urge each of you to move forward from last night to the future...
