Yesterday I placed these beautiful flowers with a Blue ribbon ( Blake loves Blue ) at the Angel Of Hope Statue At Westgate Park to Remember the 4th Anniversary of the day Blake Coatney left his earthly family and friends to be with his best friend Cody Hayes who had just passed away a few weeks before from a heroic battle with cancer.
I didn’t know Blake but as soon as I heard about him I have never been able to get his story and especially his awesome smile out of my mind .
And I don’t want to ever forget Blake Coatney
I found out that all who knew Blake knew that he had a Heart Of Gold, would do anything for his family, friends and even a perfect stranger.
I think the perfect way to describe Blake Coatney is ....
His Heart Overflowed From All That He Loved
Blake from the outside appeared to be the happy loving perfect teenager.
But Sadly That Wasn’t The Case
I want each of you who are reading this to look at Blake’s picture. A very handsome young man who was great in academics and sports.
Loved fishing
Loved his family
Loved his friends
but deep down behind that unforgettable smile he was heartbroken.
You may know someone in your life who is hiding pain and hurt behind their smile. If you see signs of depression say something immediately.
Let them know that they’re not alone
Blake even though I never met you You have touched my heart and my life forever
You will always be Loved, Missed And Remembered
