The Moment After It’s Missed
The Word After It’s Said
And
The Time After It’s Wasted


A few moments ago I was caught totally off guard.


I called Sharon Snell Green to check on her mother. I only knew her mother from recently selling her new flooring for her home. Unfortunately I had heard that her Mom had been very ill recently.


Sharon told me that her Mother had passed away a week ago and I was telling her how much of a shock it was to hear that because just a couple of months ago she was doing so well.


And That Is When I Was Caught Off Guard


We both spoke about both of our Moms and how blessed we were to have such wonderful parents and I told Sharon that losing a parent is a void that can never be filled. To me it’s like losing an arm or a limb.
My best friend is no longer here. Yes shes in Heaven. Yes she’s Totally Healed ...But I still MISS MY BEST FRIEND EVERY SINGLE DAY.


Sharon spoke about how much she and her family were missing their Mom as well.


Just as I was about to tell Sharon goodbye ..I REMEMBERED SOMETHING THAT I HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN!!


And I Shared That Special Memory With Sharon.🙏


I said ....
Sharon do you remember what I did just as I was leaving your Moms house and y’all were standing in your Moms den?


There was a old picture on your Moms wall of one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen before and I stopped and turned around and asked you who that was.
You told me it was your Mother.
Your Mom couldn’t hear me very well when I told her from across the room how beautiful she looked in that picture. Sharon’s mom said “ I sure don’t look like that anymore” and I said ..Oh yes you are still a very beautiful lady and she just looked and smiled.


As I was telling Sharon that I just started to cry..it came out of nowhere and Sharon asked me over the phone if I was ok?
I said I sure didn’t call you to start crying and I don’t know where that came from but I am so glad that the last thing I told your Mom who I barely even knew was ...


OH YES YOU ARE STILL A VERY BEAUTIFUL LADY.


Yes There Are 3 Things You Can’t Recover In Life


And I Am So Thankful Lord That You Did Not Let Me On That Day With  FAYE CARR SNELL
Miss That Special Moment With Her
Regret A Word After I Said It To Her
And For Not Letting Me Waste the Short Time I Had With Her


I’m so thankful I remembered that moment
I wouldn’t have changed a thing


Rest In Peace Faye Carr Snell
You will always be a beautiful lady and a beautiful person to me
