DOTHAN, Ala. – An Alabama Department of Transportation resurfacing project on Ross Clark Circle and Hartford Highway will begin Monday, October 29, weather permitting.
The project includes the resurfacing and two-foot safety widening of Ross Clark Circle from U.S. Highway 231 South to Fortner Street. Hartford Highway, inside the circle, will be resurfaced from Ross Clark Circle to West Main Street.
Motorists should expect delays, plan accordingly, and are urged to use caution when traveling in a work zone.
The project was awarded to Midsouth Paving, Inc., out of Birmingham, Alabama, at a cost of $2.4 million. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2019.
ALDOT’s mission is to provide a safe, efficient, environmentally and economically sound transportation network across Alabama.
