SEACT’s Aladdin Jr. coming to the Dothan Opera House

Dothan. Aug. 4, 2017: Southeast Alabama Community Theatre launches a new season with the all-kids production of Aladdin, Jr. Visit the city of Agrabah for the Academy Award-winning adventure of the street rat that became a prince. Based on the iconic animated film, Disney’s Aladdin Jr. is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. Aladdin uses a genie’s magic powers to become a prince in order to win the hand of Princess Jasmine. It’s a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem, and the power of love! Directed by Eddie & Sam Farnham, and presented by Miller Orthodontics, this children’s production is appropriate for all audiences. SEACT presents Aladdin Jr. on the Dothan Opera House stage Sept. 13-16 with flying effects provided by ZFX, Inc. The performances are approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes with no intermission.
Tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 28, available online at www.SEACT.com, www.DothanCivicCenter.org, or by contacting the Dothan Civic Center Box Office (334) 615-3175. The box office is open 8:30 – 4:30 PM weekdays, and located on the second floor of the Dothan Civic Center. Tickets are $19 for adults and $17 for students/seniors 65+/military with ID (limit 2). Performances are at 7:00 PM Sept. 13-16, with a 2:00 PM matinee on Saturday. The Dothan Opera House lobby opens at 6:00 PM with tickets on sale if the performance is not sold out. Reserved seating begins at 6:30 PM. (1:00 PM and 1:30 PM for matinee.)
