Search Continues In Thomas Mill Creek For Man Who Jumped In Water

HENRY COUNTY: Law Enforcement and search crews continue their search at Thomas Mill Creek for man who ran Saturday.
Law Enforcement Officers were conducting a driver license check Saturday evening on Henry County Road 97 and 48 at Baker's Store at Thomas Mill Creek.
On County Road 48 a man stopped to avoid the check. He is report d to have jumped off the bridge. Law Enforcement Officers talked to him in the water. They borrowed someone's boat but were unable to find him.
The man left his girlfriend in the car. Since that time he has not been seen or heard from.
Law Enforcement stayed until daylight searching the water area. Dale County Sheriff air unit was called and flew the area.
After a brief rest officers have returned searching. They have searched the water area since he disappeared.
The law enforcement officers are not worried about the violations. They are worried about the safety of the missing man. He is feared to have drown.
