Search Warrant Lands One in Jail on Drug Charges

On Monday July 2, 2018, Investigators with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division attempted to execute an arrest warrant for Donald Clipper in Marianna, Florida. While attempting to take Clipper into custody, Clipper fled back inside the residence at the sight of Law Enforcement. Investigators entered the residence and took Clipper into custody without further incident.
During a search of Clippers’ person incident to arrest, Investigators located a quantity of Methamphetamine as well as a digital scale and small baggies used to package and distribute Methamphetamine. In addition, a sum of US currency was also seized. The denominations of the currency were consistent street level sales of illegal narcotics. As a result, Clipper was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and Resisting Arrest without Violence.
