Search Warrant Lands Three in Jail on Drug Charges

On 11-7-2018 as part of an ongoing investigation Deputies with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office with the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at 603 West Burdeshaw Street in Dothan.

During the search of the location approximately 50 grams of Crack Cocaine, Ecstasy pills, Marijuana and two firearms were recovered. The street value was approximately $1200.00.  One of the firearms was reported stolen from here in Dothan.

Three people were arrested during the investigation.  

Arrested was:  

Tyrone Salter 26 years of age for Virginia Drive Dothan. He is charged with Trafficking Cocaine with bond set at $1.5 million dollars. Attempting to elude with bond set at $6000.00 (The higher bond was due to Salter attempting to elude deputies, attempting to destroy evidence and resisting arrest when caught.)

Avery Miller 22 year old of Kristi Lea Drive of Dothan. He is charged with possession of Marijuana 2^nd and receiving Stolen Property 3^rd. Bond set at $6000.00

Diante Vickers 27 years old of Martin Luther King Drive in Headland, he is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, with bond set at $10,000.00 and Attempting to elude with a $6000.00 bond.
