Sheriff Department Responds To Domestic Assault - Search For Suspect

HOUSTON COUNTY:   Houston County Sheriff 911 Operators dispatched Sheriff Deputies to a domestic assault in the Hillside Park - Nashville/Knoxville Drive area this morning.


The suspect, a black male wearing no shirt and gym shorts fled the area. After multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies surrounded the area the suspect was located and taken into custody.


The transporting deputy was northbound on Hogesville Road with the suspect taking him to jail when he called for Dothan Fire to meet him at Hodgesville Road and Ross Clark Circle. The deputy reported the suspect was claiming to behaving a seizure.
