Shooting in Enterprise Sends One to Hospital and One to Jail

The Enterprise Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred today at 12:35 PM in the 200 Block of Martin Street Enterprise, AL.
The victim reported to Detectives that while he was in the neighborhood selling alarm services door to door he was approached by the suspect on Martin Street.
The suspect and the victim exchanged words in the street and the suspect fired one round, striking the victim in the leg. The suspect was taken into custody by EPD Officers within minutes of the 911 call. The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment and is in stable condition.
EPD Detectives arrested and charged Toni Olivia Davis, age 52, of Enterprise, AL with Attempted Murder. Davis was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
