Shooting into an occupied Dwelling

  On 08/04/2017 officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the Cottondale Village Apartments located at 4052 Old Cottondale Road in response to a report of shots being fired at the apartment complex.


Upon officers arrival they were met by the complex manager who advised that several shell casing were located in the complex, and that one apartment had been shot into at approx. 1:20am. The apartment was occupied at the time this crime occurred but no one was injured.


This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with any information is asked to call the Marianna Police Department at 850-526-3125 or Chipola Crime Stoppers at 850-526-5000.
