Shootout Causes Road to Close in Opp

Opp, AL (WSFA) - Kolb Avenue in Covington County was closed Tuesday afternoon after gunfire was reported.
According to the Opp Police Department, two vehicles were involved in a shootout in the area of Kolb Avenue and Barnes Street. The department said the occupants of the vehicles shot at each other with pistols and assault rifles.
Both vehicles involved were identified, one vehicle was located while the second has yet to be found.
