SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN DALE...NORTHEASTERN
GENEVA AND NORTHWESTERN HOUSTON COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT...
At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Daleville, moving east at 15 mph.
Very heavy rain is occuring with this storm along with winds up to
40 mph. Radar estimates suggest 1 to 3 inches of rain has fallen
with this storm with another inch of rain still possible. This may
cause minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas over the
next 45 minutes.
Locations impacted include...
Daleville, Fort Rucker, Hartford, Midland City, Level Plains,
Slocomb, Newton, Pinckard, Malvern, Clayhatchee, Hollis Dairy Road,
Waterford, Knox Field, Hendrix Crossroad, Cairns Aaf, Wicksburg, High
Bluff, Highfalls, Dundee and Bald Hill.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
