Single Vehicle Accident Claimed the Life of an Enterprise Man

DOTHAN POST – A single-vehicle crash at 3:40 a.m. today, Sept. 29, has claimed the life of an Enterprise man. Abdiel Manuel Candelario Hernandez, 19, was killed when the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.


Hernandez, who was not using a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Geneva County 40 east of Glen Hughley Road. Although circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, speed is believed to be a factor.


Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
