Single Vehicle Accident Claims the Life of a Shorterville Man

DOTHAN POST – A single-vehicle crash at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 14, has claimed the life of a Shorterville man. Johnny Michael Bolt, 66, was killed when the 2001 Ford F-250 he was driving failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway overturning.  Bolt was not wearing a seatbelt and pronounced dead at the scene by Henry County Coroner Derek Wright. The crash occurred on Henry County Road 91, 2 miles east of Shorterville.  Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
